Senior Full-Stack Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing VC-backed startup in the Big Data tech space.
Dealtale is looking for a talented and passionate Full Stack developer to join our team!

What’s the Job?

  • Designing and developing functional and/or technical capabilities within large scale services, making ongoing design decisions, and focusing on multiple product domains and technologies
  • Taking full ownership of various features and product areas
  • Review and debug code
  • Perform validation and verification testing
  • Working according to high execution standards, while adhering to project goals and ensuring high quality
  • Providing in-depth technical knowledge and guidance to other team members, according to identified needs
  • Demonstrate passion and experience in building responsive, elegant, and engaging experiences with future-friendly web technologies
  • Work closely with designers to take wireframes from concept to implementation, as well as design and improve user interfaces
  • Make necessary adjustments to usability behaviors to improve the user experience
  • Possess good troubleshooting, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Learn new development tools, techniques, and standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve the software
  • Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building highly scalable, Web applications as a full stack developer
  • Extensive experience with NodeJS (Designing APIs)
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies like MQ and with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis
  • Experience in building Web applications with React + Redux
    AWS Cloud technologies (EC2, S3, Security best practices, Backups)
    Experienced with Docker (Build, Push, Maintain)
  • Production awareness
  • CI/CD experience
  • Start-up minded, ability to think in an agile way and be a natural problem solver
  • Contribute to all phases of the product development: design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, RESTful WebServices, GraphQL
    Strong knowledge of CSS pre-processing technologies such as LESS and SASS
  • Familiarity with Monitoring tools
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
  • Have some known contribution in the open source – advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering
  • Superb communication skills (both oral and written) in English
